Anyone knows if there is a P2 streaming to P3 class this term? My fren’s son’s teacher was telling them that the streaming to which class next year will be announced this term but my girl has not heard anything from her teacher. Any one can verify?

Streaming to which P3 class is only made known after SA2 exam and overall results are computed. I believe you know the criteria for the streaming right? 1. Overall Aggregate Score, then 2. Maths Results

How about streaming from P4 to P5?

How about streaming from P4 to P5?[/quote]Oh so u didn't attend any brief by school. I am not too sure about P4->P5 as my son is in P3 now. But I am sure it'll be more complex since subject-banding comes into play.

My ds was e 1st batch of p1 n 2 no exam guinea pigs n he had sa2 in p2 2 yrs ago.

In fact all e bite sized assessments formed part of e overall.

There is SA2 for P2 onwards all the while. This will be the first exam for lower pri. Maybe you missed the brief. Did you attend the brief for P1/2 in Feb 2013? The 40% weightage for term 4 is actually SA2 exam.

i did attend the briefing for p1 /p2, maybe i forgot about the SA2. Die loh :slapshead: luckily my fren's son's teacher remind them and my fren ask me about it, if not, die liao. Just to ask SA is the exam for everything from term 1 all the way to term 4? normally it is held around when?

Lucky that i cam to KSP to ask.
