Sspitfire , Prelims are generally tougher than PSLE. So dont get demoralized. Try and focus on the weaker areas. And take plenty of rest. It is important to recharge before PSLE.

Usually yes. This is so the schools can send a wake up call to students who think they're prepared for PSLE but aren't really. Although some schools do overdo it with overly tough papers which leave students in tears.

Sspitfire, dont let anythings affect you, do your study, keep yourself happy, 5 more weeks you will finish your PSLE.

Glad to hear that. Dd just commented that she didnt do well in her prelim chinese yesterday. Super stress now. Cant imagine how much stress they r gg through.

usually the case with most schools...to WAKE the kids.
don't get overly stressed with it, take it as a revision.
i can imagine the kids and parents are starting to feel the pressure.
drink more water and remember to rest.
