i was referring to the SRT. i don't remember my son doing it. Maybe like you said, he treated it as class exercise and passed it without me knowing. so no news from teacher is good news?
Yes, in this case, no news is good news. haha...Anyway, LSP is only given to P1 and P2 students. P3 students will be given Enabled programme. Your P3 boy is already in Faith 3, no need at all!

No worries at all. Most parents are not familiar because most kids, like ours, do not need to attend such programmes.

          See below for more info:

In recent years, some schools even trained teachers to conduct LSM (Learning Support for Math). For students who do not pass the School Readiness Test (SRT), they will be given Learning Support Programme. If they are late bloomers, they might learn to cope better after the programme and be released to be with the normal curriculum at P2, if not, they continue with the programme at P2. If they are underachievers, they will be given Enable Programme at P3.

The FT has found out what happened during her absence and the class was supposed to be under a relief teacher. The FT had left a list of assignments on her workstation. No surprise to know that the relief teacher did not visit her workstation.

Anyway, the FT said she will appoint a responsible pupil to remind the relief teacher (in future when she is again absent) to go to her workstation to check on what’s to be done with the class.

              Assuring???

Alarming to know she is prepared to be absent on a regular basis???

The P1 briefing slides are now available on phpps website. i think it provides good info on what the school is about.

                  I see. No worries.

Don't worry! Which class yr dd in? My child was not in phpps yet in P2 term 1, I can't comment. I know not all classes have moxie for p2, like Jennifer mentioned, e first 3-4 classes. Like mine, she only scored 100% once. Tr told me most kids scored around 70-85 % most of the time. Its challenging, but good for the kids to be exposed to such so they can learn.
Finally received the \"bomb\"...Chinese Spelling and Moxie list. 😄 Maybe I was quite mentally prepared so quite ok. She received the list for (深广班). Some characters are new to her so need to learn how to write them. On the whole, not as scary as I thought it would be.

Jennifer, maybe your FT is just making sure that contingency plan is in place, not that she's prepared to be absent on a regular basis. 😎

There is a CCA briefing for P3-P6 next Monday. Do parents need to go? My son did not say anything about it, and there is nothing from the teachers.

Although my dd was in P1 last year, the students were briefed at the hall and forms were given to the parents via the kids to introduce the CCAs offerred to the P1s and P2s. Maybe it could be the same. Parents do not need to be there.
