I was like that when my daughter took PSLE 2 yrs ago too! We decided that it was a good thing - my daughter could focus on what we felt added value to her (because not all kids need practice in the same things), and still get adequate rest and relaxation. A lot of PSLE prep is repetitive, but doing paper after paper isn't actually useful unless the child needs practice in all aspects of the paper. We preferred to select what we felt she needed to work on, and just do 1 full paper a week in each subject (if the school didn't already set this as homework). My daughter still had time to read story books, play games and take the weekend off, and she faced the exams well-rested and fairly relaxed. Her results were as good as we could hope for, so we were satisfied that she had done sufficient preparation even though she seemed quite free.

Think it is usual practice for ah boy's school.

I recalled elder boy told me when he was in P5, one day out of sudden, a chorus of \"Hurray\" echoed throughout the school. It was the last PSLE paper that day.

Friend's neice went. It is not a miracle course to transform your grade to A*. Rather expensive I feel.

How was your friend's niece doing for Sci in school? Already getting A? Most importantly, did she get a A* at PSLE? Pls share
