This is crazy man.. Can learn effectively or not?
I guess it depends very much on the kid... some do not mind the challenges of numerous worksheets or can think better with bigger class size + constant interactions (=noise to some)iLoveChubby:
May I know what is the average number of students per class?
Class size maximum 15-16.
My DS cant, that was why I withdrew him from the centre.
But i do know of frens' kids who are doing well in their classes. -

I know. But for extra lessons, I prefer classes with less than 10 students.

I only teach him twice a week. The most only 4 hours. He asked for lessons because his classmates all have some form of tuition. He is worried that he will lose to them. My DS is the kiasu type :itwasntme:..During exams, he checks his paper multiple times..make sure no careless mistakes..

Actually he doesn't need tuition at all. But since he asks for extras I do not mind sending him for classes.. If I can find suitable ones
He can self study.. No need much coaching.. Already programmed 'motivation' into him
