My issues are purely administrative in which the adults in NJC admin should hv done properly.I agree that it is important to feedback, but I think it is important to understand the context.
I believe the OGLs have taken precious time and efforts to organise the orientation activities. And I am thankful for this.

so, the word \"girl\" was a typo lah bcos ACS Pri got no girls, right ?
no typo error. His pri sch was Pei Hwa - co-ed. Hv I ever said ah boy was from ACS Pri??? Think u got me mixed up with someone else lah.
This really shows my memory is fading & a sign that dementia has set in ... sigh ...
Sorry Jennifer, I read thru your post, what you actually said was that your boy got into ACS & appeal to NJC. But what was set in my dementia set-in brain was that your boy came from ACS Pri to NJC. That is aslo the reason why, earlier I joke that you are rich & to donate to NJC. That said, I am not implying that you are not rich, hor ?
Please accept my apologies for the mix-up !! -
Jennifer:
Haiyo, my Ingerish is half-past-six one, if write in, Principal also don't understand lah .... I was hoping a high powered English writer like you can write so that I can also contribute by putting my signature at the bottom of the letter lah ...
Hv you started to prepare the letter?

Jennifer:
Yes kudos to the OGLs for taking their time to to also keep our newbie JH1 entertained. They performed dance, games ... etc & what not for our JH1 ...

My issues is only the Polo T-Shirt which give the impression that the admin/vendor like to procrastinate.
Maybe it is best to have breakfast with the Principal. How do we do that ? -
Bryan:
agree fully here...I agree that it is important to feedback, but I think it is important to understand the context.
I think the school has a system whereby they allow the senior students to organise activities for the juniors. I think these are valuable leadership and organisational opportunities ...
my JH1 girl woke up this morning after the week of fun and games, now browsing KSP forum together with me after b'fast.
yes, there were things that could have been better; T-shirt sizes, polo-T, etc...
for which my girl responded with a \"har?\"
my sincere thanks to all the OGLs for the great work.
:congrats: -

How many in your OG happen to be in the same class with you ? -
Jennifer:
Don't worry lah. The girls recognize the boys in NJC are all intelligent kids.
One reason why my boy did not take to the idea of an all boys' sch was that boys are rowdy. He thought with girls around in a co-ed setting, the boys will restraint a bit on their behaviour.
Now that boys are seriously outnumbered in JH, I am afraid the boys will hv less chances to speak up. Nevertheless, I have advised my boy to stand firm on his grounds and not be afraid to speak up.
Pray girls in his class are not too loud or self-opinionated.
I think it is just the friendly banter between boys & girls during games. I think during class, the girls wouldn't be so loud, bah ? Hahaha
Also, don't think the girl's behaviour in NJC will be that unrestraint, right ?

Agreed Jennifer, the admin staff are professionals whereas the OGLs are apprentice, learning the trade in organisation. I think the OGLs did a good job, lets give them a big round of applause. perhaps the profs need to \"unlearn\" and \"relearn\", thats what the buzz word of the govt nowadays....
