Yah. No other variables for comparison. :rotflmao:
Since DS has no problem with his current diet, DH and I think we should not eliminate or add new items into DS's diet. Everything is per normal. He still eats junk food and we do not ask him to take new vitamins/supplements/ essence because we think it is more detrimental if his body is not used too it.

Agree. Drastic changes may not suit mine either.

Just like how she displayed withdrawal signs when she was told to go off the correction tape for one of our study sessions. It was hell bad wor. :nailbite:

Fidgeting. Making more mistakes. Fiddling with the pen when thinking what to write. Scratching head. Rubbing nose. :scared:

      :rotflmao: Serious addiction this wan.

So, I'm eagerly awaiting the results of your experiment.
Hope there were at least three types you toyed with for this experiment?
So got more choices of which correction tape is thee best. šŸ˜‰

Sorry, I only experimenting with one. I didn't think I would need to test other correction tape :slapshead: but we did experiment with his choice of pen too (I read in that certain pen ink will re-appear on the correction tape??). I was so stupid I didn't think to test other correction tapes :stupid: If I take PSLE paper, most likely I will fail because I didn't conduct a fair test šŸ˜†
Because the teacher told him, your mom said you didn't need to do? I teacher or your mom teacher?

        Wah piang!

If I were the mother of this child, I would hv called up the school principal and scolded the teacher upside down.

Just the other day, I was acting out at home Irene Ang's role in Ah Boys To Men, elder boy had a good laugh.

Sometimes we hv to stand up against teachers.

Just like when I was in sec 4. Told the CL teacher I wont be buying the assessment book for Normal stream, beyond my level, waste $ to buy. She was hopping mad and said: let's see what u get for your results. Even complained to my FT.

This may sound crazy to some of you....but I feel like pulling out my child out of school for this one remaining month. There's just so much homework now, on top of supplementary classes. Even as I'm typing, dd is still doing her homework. Everynight is the same. weekends worst!

I know where her weak areas are - from her prelim exams - but I have absolutely NO TIME to revise with her , or help her brush up the weak areas.

I really feel like homeschooling her now till PSLE.

I will do that for my child next year when she sits for PSLE. I think it is pointless to do so much work every day and no time for revision. My DS took the PSLE last year. Learnt from the experience.

Exactly. But dd is resistant to the idea of missing out supplementary classes for fear of missing out something important. Even late in the night, when I told her to stop doing and I'll write a letter to the teacher saying she can't finish her homework, she refused - die die must finish.

I heard a few of her classmates' parents also complained to the teacher - but nothing seems to be done so far.

EXACTLY the same thing I am going through with DD and her school, Verysuperkiasu... 🤷
