Ok. This one is for you. Ready???
:spank: :spank: :spank:
Btw, do you go to school just to deliver the lunch? Today I saw some parents (including fathers) brought lunch for the kids. -

Well well well.. same again. So i agree agree agree. :hugs: I hear you loud and clear.buds:
EXACTLY the same thing I am going through with DD and her school, Verysuperkiasu...

I think our DDs earned themselves a nick name 'verysuperkiasi'.
But seriously, I always consider a day productively spent if she did her work and get it marked and know where she goes wrong, and learnt from it. Problem with the teachers (other than Math), is they make the chn do tonnes of work and only mark them few days later, or a week later. By then, dd has forgotten what she has done.
Her Math teacher is good though. Get them do the work in class, go through the answer right away and explain the mistakes to them. So she hardly takes Math homework back to do. Yet she goes home with something she has learnt that day.
Biggest roadblock for DD (and us too of course) is that the teacher in mention is the Math teacher. If that is not enough, he is also the Science teacher. :frustrated:
Can you imagine our :stupid: ? -

I hv not thought of this home cooked lunch. Later ah boy comes home, I ask, ok? :rotflmao:Some mummies are spoiling the market
DS said that some of his classmates started to get home cooked meals for lunch on the days they have supplementary. DS asked me to bring him home cooked meals for lunch too until PSLE is over instead of surfing KSPs the whole morning
Come come. Confess here. Who has been bringing their DCs home cooked meals just because PSLE is nearing? :spank: :heresmyfish: -
actually 1 way to keep food warm that i have is pass to cantten vendor who u are closer to give them some extra $ ask them help reheat or use warmer container
-
I would like to pack food for DS1 because he does not like the food quality sold in his canteen. However, he declined my offer as he said no classmates do that and he will be embarassed if he brings a lunch box!!
By the way, what are the lunch box that is good to keep for hours, won't spoilt and texture remain as good as just cooked?I can prepare for DS2 who has CCA. -
Oops! just realised OT!

Dd is a super fussy eater who much prefers the lousy junk food she gets in sch to the wholesome ones we prepared at hm :stupid:Some mummies are spoiling the market

She'd be very upset if i started bringing her homecooked food on days that she had to stay back in sch! -

Valid reason.
Actually I dropped off lunch for DD1 as well when I had to send DD2 for PM session when they were at their previous school. I didn't have the boys then so I'd use the time to wait for supp to end by catching up on reading. Or get ice-cream nearby.
It does not make logistic sense to do it now esp since I gotta travel everywhere with the babies on public transport. The waiting and the hassle may not justify the effort.
