DoDo_DoDo:

But P2 no SA2 Exam so that means only when we got the report book end of the year we will know the streaming?

If it is the same, there is SA2 for p2.

But since when there is SA2 for P2? you mean school will announce later? :scratchhead:
There is SA2 for P2 onwards all the while. This will be the first exam for lower pri. Maybe you missed the brief. Did you attend the brief for P1/2 in Feb 2013? The 40% weightage for term 4 is actually SA2 exam.

              Dear Parents,

my gal will be joining NCPS next year. Could you share with me about the teachers in this school? Are they too focused on academic? Any of your child who enjoys going to school?

Quite a lot of homework to do & the school is very results oriented, especially those in the top classes. The kids are well prepared for PSLE & most of the teachers are committed. However, the kids still looking forward to go to school everyday to see/play with their friends.

Thanks for your answer. As NCPS is the nearest Pri Sch, I am glad to secure a place for my gal. But is there any moment which your child is not able to clear his / her work in a day?

He had lots of homework (maybe due to PSLE) & more challenging homework (maybe due to better class) compare to some classes. Sometimes he fall asleep while doing his homework. However, his teachers did not pick on him. According to his teachers, he was a well behave & diligent boy. Whereas, my younger girl is a slow worker & need supervision. However, lower pri workload is still consider manageable.
Any idea about students who are not in the better classes? Have heard stories about some primary schools deploy the best teachers to teach the best class, the tail-end classes are being \"ignored\".

It depends on the principal's believing & strategy. There will be a change of principal by the time your girl goes to upper pri. According to the current principal, the more experience teachers will be allocated to teach the upper pri. Weaker students are not neglected. They will be rewarded for making good progress & extra lessons (focus learning group or remedial classes) will be conducted to help them.
