I'm not sure if this works for everyone, but i tell my kids this is one of the many exams you have to take in your life. it is not a make or break event in your life. Don't make such a big deal of it. Life still goes on no matter what. Just do your best and let God do the rest. Ultimately we don't look for the results as we believe that is God's problem. šŸ˜‰ As parents we look for the kind of effort they put in.

I also have a child whose exam results do not reflect what I believe she is capable of. This is something we just have to accept, and hope that she can find her niche eventually. More stress will just make it worse.
Compulsory education ends at arriving at PSLE.

I am so tempted not to continue ah boy in Sg system.

I think he is immature. Given the workload at sec sch, I dun think he will be able to cope well. Just take it like he is repeating another year of pri sch?

He may grow up in the next few months. Anyway, not having him in school could be worse. In any case, there is no major exam for another 4 yrs.

I feel like there might be a certain stigma about repeating, especially with peers and friends.
