The toddler from last Fri just park himself across me and sheepishly reach for my spare fork on the table. So I shake my head and told him not to touch the fork because it is sharp. He obliges and recline his outreach arm. Still no intention of leaving so I ask him where are his parents (trying to prompt him to return to his table) but I think he interprets that as I'm warming up to him and he started chatting away eagerly. Really adorable

Another encounter, I was waiting outside my dd2's ballet class to fetch her. A girl around 9 or 10 years old appear from nowhere, stood next to me and started complaining to me that she is starving, yet to have dinner and that she hates to bun up her hair, etc etc. Talk to me like her long lost friend even though I have not seen her before
