May I know how do you all get to know this ?

I am thinking of moving to somewhere nearer to RGPS to reduce my girl's daily travelling time from Sengkang to Bukit Timah. Thus whether the school will move to a temporary holding site will have an impact on the decision of my relocation.

Wel, Siti is correct, the school practise the Teach less, learn more on our kids, similarly parents got to learn more thermselves about whats happening at school. If u are contemplating on moving to clementi then u should not have a problem wth distance in 2011, the holding school is where the NOL bldg is,, also used to accomodate St Andrews before.

I dnt know Siti and she got the same info as me....no idea why the school have not yet made official announcement,dnt know whether they did mention on orientation day cos I was not there. Perhaps calling the office for info wuld be a good idea....but be prepared for negative response as the school may not want to reveal yet... Ive heard of other schools putting up sign board to inform of relocation during p1 registration,maybe and hopefully they will do that too.
Btw,you still shifting to clementi?

Hi Ming, Seems like this is already a \"fact\" that has been made known... If you happen to get reconfirmation from the sch, do post it here. I don't mind if the sch moves to Alexandra area.. at least i can hang ard at vivo while waitg for them.. hehehe

moonee - Yes, think I will still proceed with the plan to relocate to Clementi once my girl is in am session. I briefly checked with the school bus, for am session they will need to pick up my girl (if staying at Sengkang) at 5.40am and reach school at 6.40am !! Wondering why the school bus need to reach the school so early ? thought the am session will only start at 7.20am ?

Hi Ming,

Im not too sure where sengkang is but it sounds like somewhere in hougang and that seems far... Relocating to clementi wuld b a good decision. My ds school bus comes by at 5.55am and reaches school at 6.40a.m. Think they want to beat the congestion there as it builds up after 6.45am. The school buses do have to keep to the Q unlike the evenings whereby they drive straight in. Anyway dd continues her sleep in the bus till she reaches school. :lol:
