My ds1 is going. I thought school gave a long list of unnecessary stuff to bring... Panadol, vitamin c etc.. My hubs told my boy to 'juz bring spoon ( for meds type), why do they need so many bottles of panadol?! It's jb, not timbuktu..' 😛 apparently bus has not left school yet

How many days? Maybe school doesn't encourage sharing (to cultivate responsibility ) or kids may not want to share.

The parents’ note says teachers will bring along first aid box so I only gave DS some dplasters and insect repellent/mosquito patch. Hope they are having fun and not raining over there now. It’s a day trip.

          Hi

Have any of the parents here sent their children to the above trip to Vietnam before? What do you think of the trip? Is it worth the time and money?

Personally I find the cost of the trip much higher than market rate of a similar duration tour package. We are not informed of the detailed itinerary or accommodation etc, just a relatively general understanding of what’s to be covered in the trip, and we have to pay for the full (with subsidies) fare now.

My dc has not been to any of the overseas’ trip before.

          Anyone care to share?

          Thanks.

Bro FQW, be on standby to organize the BBQ. Ah boy did badly for prelim.

How bad is bad? Mabbe your standard is too high.

Recently found out my colleague's son topped his class for SA1 Math & Eng ... this after she regularly 'complained' to me that her son is not the study type. :scared:

Tomorrow is P3's cultural trip to JB. Hope it turns out well and safe.. Anyone's dc also going?

My son thoroughly enjoyed the trip, giving it a score of 9.5/10!

Elder boy prelims score minus ah boy prelims score = a difference of 20+ points.

                      I 😓

                      I always tell people ah boy's academic results r on a yo-yo.

If the above holds true, then I might hv good news for PSLE 😆

                        I have this encounter too.

Dunno done purposely to be on defence mode or really really blur about own child's ability?
