Well, I've always told my kids the one 'holiday' which is NOT a true holiday is September...because it is close to SA2. I've planned the their schedule for the next 6 days.

Kids' SA2 timetable is out...they didn't inform me until I went to their school websites to make a 'no-travel' declaration and found out about it.
Then I printed out the dates and pinned them up...they sheepishly told me 'sorry I forgot about it. What! SA2 so soon?' :slapshead:

NO me-time till school reopens :

Actually, kids at home also can have Me-time.. They do their stuffs, and I do mine.. 我们井水不犯河水。。 :rotflmao:

My kids know when not to disturb me, and vice versa.. Kids need their Me-time too, like we do.. 😄

I was at IMM...saw many parents holding popular plastic bags...I guess they must have stocked up new assessment books to revise from scratch.
Ok, there will be BookFest this year :rahrah:
Have you collected the popclub magazine? There is a 20% discount for assessment books.

I doubt...because they always hand me any letters/memos from school without me asking.

My son in sec 1 starts his SA 2 weeks from today...23/9...can't remember which paper/subject though. Daughter has oral in early oct...that's less than 1 month preparation for whole year of topics 😓

If I depend on them to give me their sa2 schedule, sure have panic attack.

I usually use the 20% coupons to stock up on story books for Christmas & Birthday presents.. I have many nephews & nieces, and they all like to have story books as gifts.. 😄

The both of them are getting work done now...but I spot check every now and then to make sure they are on their toes  Vacuumed the floor last night, so that I can revise with younger one.

With the new EL syllabus, I have to be careful buying assessment books.

Son's Chinese Paper 1 starts 23rd Sep...very early...which is just nice because he will finish before my daughter starts her written papers.
