Me Time!
-
DH is away again. So this whole week will be me and the kids again. Before I left for work this morning, gave them some work and told them to finish up as much of their school work as possible.

Same here.
Hubs away again. DD1 has holiday supp. DD2 already finished homework and now doing her assessments. I'm planning to take them out the last few days of the week to play, spend time with gramps and chillax with some movie catch-up.

ur girl's school oredi released SA2 timetable? We hv not received yet.very slow....woke up at 745 this morning...no thanks to sore throat and runny nose.
daughter woke up earlier because she slept very early last night...son snored till almost 9am.
hubby did ask me to take the kids out but with SA2 time table pinned on my notice board, I am not able to do that
the schedule was to get kids to WAKE UP but unfortunately I am the one affected. -

i adopt ur method n now kids r more independent. They start to pay me more respect n knowing that i am their mummy but not maid...
We make these mid-semester breaks 'half-holidays' as they usually have homework and revision to do. My deal with them is that they wake up at a reasonable time (7.30am) and put in at least 2-3 hrs of work, and then they can have the rest of the time to themselves. This afternoon, they are going to watch Percy Jackson, and we plan to do the tree-top walk with them one day (husband will take some time off to go with us). I'll probably go out with them another time and there's always the library! My personal time is unchanged from term time as they work independently anyway. -
Sa2 time table is out for both of them…son is out of my radar where revision is concerned…just planning my daughter’s is sufficient to drive me nuts.
Because she doesn’t have Chinese tutor, I have to work doubly hard. -
Rainy day.. So nice to :snooze:
My Me-time now.. Reading on my cozy bed.. Going to take a nap soon.. Zzzz..
Children are downstairs, having their Me-time too..

i snapped today :stompfeet: ...and what made me so mad was because daughter gave me the SA2 dates/topics way after I've planned her schedule for this holiday  there is 作文 etc to prepare for :frustrated:

Janet, I give checklist instead of timetable. Checklist is not as detailed and structured as timetable but just general idea what they need to accomplish over next few days

Watched \"Turbo\" movie with the kiddies.
