Hi ! Can I check with parents with kids in the Chinese Orchestra, did you register your child in the NUS CO Exam ?

any parents with kids 1st, 2nd or 3rd in class? what's the percentage like in eàch level? does it get lower and lower as the get promoted? is there even such thing like class positioning or level positioning?

Class positioning for top 3, and parents invited to attend cert presentation at end of year. No level/subject top.

for P1 the top 3 kids can get close to perfect score ..and I believe the % will drop as they make more careless mistake as they get promoted.

Also, any good recommendations for Chinese, Maths and Science tuition centre or tutors (reasonable tuition fee) for lower primary?

Hi marmum,


There is no streaming from P3 to P4 now. In fact, they will be promoted to the same P4 class e.g. 3A -> 4A.

"Streaming" is at P4 to P5, where they can choose to continue or drop higher chinese.

Hi mummies, anyone with kids who is school team for wushu? What is the frequency for CCA practice for the school team and how often do they take part in the competitions. My boy is in the P2 team from term 3 onwards. When I asked the teacher how do they select the kids for school team, she only replied me "mbe you can tell your boy to do his best". I had no clue about the selection criteria etc.


Btw, what is the pupil profiling form which they given out yesterday used for? Do they use this as a guideline to stream the kids? Appreciate if the mummies here can help to answer my queries, thanks.

I didn't get this pupil profiling form from my P2 child. What infomation did they asked for?

I filled up the profiling form last yr so the " achievements outside sch" eg. Music exam etc is printed in the report book at year end. I don’t thk it has anything to do with streaming
