hi zack!
im not sure if i understand what you mean in terms of health insurance.
my health insurance is manage by my general and health insurance guy, of which ive got my own financial planner too. i know that there is two alternatives in terms of health insurance and accidental stuff.
for example i know that if i go jogging for example and get a mishap like say sprain my ankle or get dislocated i know that i am covered for my medical expenses in terms of my MRI etc…
that is kinda actually being covered by my general insurance accident plan.
as for my hospitalistation im covered by my health shield plan.
so im not quite sure what you are lookin for, but this guy that does both my accident as well as health shield guy is pretty good. u can call him for advice coz he’s kinda not pushy. i like it coz i dont like to be pressured to take up anything or be committed to anything i dont want. so he’s kinda good to check up with.
if u are interested u can msg me and i can send u his contact. coz im kinda new at this forum im not sure im im kinda allowed to post contact numbers here.
im sure it wont hurt to just call and enquire from him. coz afterall, with insurance and financial planning and such, u still need professional advice except we all know we dont and are afraid of the hard sell types. so he’s pretty alright. -

i am currently under Plan A of certain insurance coy coverage for hospitalization. i would like to find out that if say in 20yrs time i intend to downgrade to Plan B, is it subject to a re-underwriting?
Hi jedamum, this is consider a downgrade, u do not need to be subjected to re-underwriting. Only when u wish to upgrade to a better plan, u may need to go thru underwriting again and declare ur medical conditions once again. -

Hi,[Moderator's note: Topics merged.]
Hi All,
Anyone purchase any personal accident for child? Trying to find with some kind of benefits as follow:
(1)$1000-$2000 per injury. Can go medical clinic or TCM.
(2) Hospitalistaion & ICU coverage like $75/day, $150/day etc
(3) Can have some kind of refund if there is claim or no claim after certain period of duration.Eg 2, 3 years.
Those who have such expereinces so can share? Being getting calls from crdeit card centre listen until I blur on thier ins products. :!:
U may want to consider starshield from AIA. Its specially for kids with Medical reimbursements ( u can cliam for food poisoning, serious insect bites, injuries from falls) from $1000 and above depending on the plans u choose, inclused TCM as well and it also covers HFMD.
U can contact me fro my info.. i just got it for my ger. Very affordable $9+ a month -
I have personal accident insurance for children from Income. Çan’t remember how much but it was very cheap - something like $60 for 3 years.

Sorry i was MIA for a very long time....u noe now i have to do recruiting of agents..gosh...anyway if you guys are keen in joining this industry do let me know...im a bit different than tied agency so the person needs to know at least 8 insurer's co and their strength
Anyone bought Eldershield package for their parents?kelamel:
Btw i am from an licensed financial co.
We represent a few insurers .....fyi those belowmentioned are highly reco to read....
http://www.income.com.sg/insurance/eldershield/
http://www.aviva-singapore.com.sg/ (look for eldershield)
1. Which insurer did you get from?
2. Did you take on any riders?
I have not read through NTUC's package, but a brief reading from Aviva and GreatEastern's package, Aviva's rider plans have option for lifetime benefit payable while Greateastern's comprehensive plan only has max 10yr benefit payout. Greateastern's premiums is rather transparent from their website, while Aviva's rider plan's premium rates are not available on their website.
Okay mr JED
here we go
For eldershield : yeah my parents use their own MA to buy for themselves inc the rider from Aviva.
WE chose vs Ntuc due to the partial ADSL...for ntuc ..no payment for partial.
For health medical insurance : My baby Gal : NTUC incomeshield Enchanced and rider
WE chose this its because the cost of rider its cheaper as we still bear the 10% of the hospital bill size....but capping at $3000 per year
For accident plan : No horse run : Chartis Youth Advantage
For accident plan : Myself : Sapphire
Cheapest liao.....serious..$120 a year...$4000 MEdical reimbursement
I dont bother abt the death benefit as i wisht o have higher medical reimbursement as i play soccer and at times get sprain....So go TCM and being covered
Parents : heh under AIA (SAFE Choice)but need to register a company and use it to your advantage....
cheap around $110 a year... (AIA agents should know...under worksite marketing produc)
Life plan : Daughter :
Insurer : TOkio Marine
Plan : LIFE , payment 25 years only and covered for life
Critical illness and heaven benefit : $150k and rider
$110 a month....where to find.
Best on the 25th year....if i surrender..I GET BACK All premiums GURANTEED. Cover free... but aint surrender lar...since covered for life...the cash portion just roll and roll.
2nd choice is NTUC and the REST of co ??? the distribution costs enough to scare me! haha
Okay thats it..... -

Yes very good....Accident plan use general ones...usually cheaper but most dont have giro...hi zack!

I look at MR as the most important factor..most plans offer me higher death benefit but i not keen as self employed i worried lar i ganna tackle or fall down...fat lar so quite clumsy...haha -
AlbertBrend:
It's a good idea. I think AVIVA is a good company and there agents are more faithful.
Haha all insurers are good on certain product, actually all agents are good lar...just that at times they love their job too much and they bring it home and their frens gets annoyed.....
