Just to add my 2cents. For 2013 & 2014, P1 & P2 classes are held in Toh Tuck Campus. Classes start 8am, flag raising 7:50+/-. Kids can go to Kings Road Campus to catch the shuttle bus to TTC (they leave KRC around 7:30, if not wrong). What time they wake up will depend on where you stay & how you are sending your kids. :snooze:

Any clue on the jam at Toh Tuck if we drop off at around 7.30am?

Heard from neighbours who send their kids to King's Road campus that we should leave home by 6.45am to ensure smooth traffic and arrive at King's Road at 7.10am.

But they can't advise much about Toh Tuck. We are staying in Punggol. ๐Ÿ˜„

      Hi there,
I am staying at Hougang and drives my boy to TTC every day. We usually leave home by 635-640am and will get to school by 710-720am. Do factor in time needed when caught in a jam, somehow PIE always jam.

Are P1 kids reading more on Roald Dahl books, The Magic Tree House series, Geronimo, Enit Blyton or those stepping books level 3/4 in short chapters?

My daughter reads Geronimo. But not sure what is the norm or what is the correct level. I just let her read what she likes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Geronimo series is really popular among young readers ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've yet to receive. Some schools have already sent out the letters. I thought I might have missed out something. Ok, will keep posted once I get it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Will be given at orientation. Sufficient time for you to review and subsequently sign up.

I would like to find out from other parent what the expectation is during primary 4?

I can see my DD has been quite stressful, recently she did not want to try the GEP screening test, I told her to give a shot just try for fun. She is weak in English but strong in math, always score full mark or close to full mark, but her English did not improve much, her Compo is quite weak, she told me she will not make it to the second round, at the end, I just let her to decide cos I donโ€™t want to force her.

Last week, she told me her friends mentioning to her for those who make it to the first round but did not make it to the second round will go to a good class (HA Class) then the rest will relocate to (Mixed Class) in Primary 4. She was quite upset after hearing this. She asked me is that true? Why only those students can go to good class???

Is this school really emphasize/focus on selected students (HA class)?? Sometime I do wonder if I have made a right choice for my DD studying in this schoolโ€ฆ. She has no older sibling to seek advice.

If is not convenience to post your advice on the post, kindly pm me.
Really appreciate your advice and I want to help my child not to stress her up.

                        Thank you!
