I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE turtle soup!!!

Hb n I like that one at Sembawang (opp Sembawang Shopping Centre).

YUMMY! Nearest one which my hb usually buys is Tai Sing Turtle Soup at Upper Paya Lebar Road.

I love the eggs!! Used to go to Geylang with my uncle weekly when I was younger ๐Ÿ™‚

      ARGH! Now I got craving!
Btw, the Sheng Siong at my place sells live turtles. Anyone knows how to cook?

Muffins, so sorry that we are talking about something you do not eat. Maybe you should avoid this thread so that you won't get angry ๐Ÿ™‚
I love animals too but I don't eat vegetables, so very hard for me to turn vegetarian. ๐Ÿ˜›

:celebrate: more turtle soup lovers here than originally thought :celebrate:

@mrswongtuition, I was told it is not easy to kill & wash a turtle, so better not try

@Jav, the L-Shaped food centre is Block 22A Havelock Road. Unfortunately it is not correctly tag on google map. the food stall is located near the entrance of the car park.

Found the name card, it's called Tan Ser Seng Herbs (Ah Seng Restaurant), just realised they have 2 places :

            1) Inside Geylang Lor. 21 No. 29 Lorong Bachok, Ph. 67483953
            2) Kallang - Block 51 Old Airport Road (Hawker Centre) #01-125C, Ph. 63446323

Go and try & see whether which outlet give the best turtle soup ๐Ÿ˜„

DH use to bring me to this hawker centre at Jln Berseh.

There is also ๅฑฑ็‘žไน‹ๅฎถ(House of Turtle). They have other dishes besides turtle soup and herbal soup so good for those whose family members donโ€™t take herbal soups. Got other alternatives

I like that they top up the soup FOC. Well most turtle soup places do that.

The 1st one is Berseh Food centre, Very Lucky Turtle Soup. Think it is 166 Jln Bersa

The other one is House of Turtle or Turtle House, 403 Guillemard Road
Thought they have another outlet in Sembawang but cannot find the address now.

Sorry lah. DH drive I just follow, never bother to find out the address.

I'm not sure of the name of the place at Sembawang cos my hb drives and I just keep talking about what I want to order instead of pay attention to details. OOPPS! I'll ask him later ๐Ÿ™‚

I normally order the turtle soup with eggs. Yum yum! They have other herbal soups and dishes also. Another nice dish I like is their stewed crocodile meat.

Tankee, I asked the SS ppl, they'll kill & wash the turtle for us. I also asked my uncle who used to work as a chef in 5* hotels overseas (retired already). He said that just rub with salt and herbs will get rid of the smell. Then just boil (he gave long instructions which I can't rmb) the soup with the turtle meat.

OMG! Thinking about this make me very hungry. I'm going to get hb to bring me to get turtle soup tomorrow during lunch! I CAN'T WAIT!

Dwang...going for a med review today so probably would be too scared to try. I've gone to the havelock one as well. Slurp! Think I'd make a quick detour tomorrow lunch time liao! ๐Ÿ˜‰
