Yeah, I went recce at My Cosy Corner too but was too full to eat liao.

What is good at My Cosy Corner ? Popiah ?

      Thanks

my sons love the popiah n curry chicken n beef teriyaki.

If you like simple French, the duck confit at La Petite Cuisine is very good.

I dunno about you, but I love the kueh pieti at my cosy corner. ๐Ÿ˜‰

You may also want to consider Burger Shack at Crown Centre (I think) ground level facing Dunearn Road.

Tried Xinwang (where the old petrol kiosk was at Coronation) there over the weekend and they lost our order, didn't apologize and insisted that I pay service charge coz \"we can't reverse that\" so I asked the manager if HE would pay the service charge if the place forgot his order, didn't bother to check even if they'd been reminded and just gave a cursory \"jiu yao lai le!\" even when we told them that the kids were already hungry after having been kept waiting for over half an hour (think the servers are mainly PRC's, not that I'm against it! It's a HK joint, for crying out loud..). He just :? but quick thinking, to his credit, said he'd waive one drink which when he presented the bill once again, acridly pointed out...\"costs more than the service charge\" :!: the audacity!

Of course I'd the last say when he asked if I wanted to buy the loyalty card. \"Would you, if you were me? Maybe when your Customer service attitude has changed.\" and gave him my widest smile!

yes it's served on Saturdays. From NJC you can also walk along Hillcrest Road past Greenwood till you see Hillcrest Arcadia the condo on your right. There's a nice Chinese Restaurant between Hillcrest Arcadia and the other condo Arcadia that has good food. We like to go there too. It's along Arcadia Road. If you want to drive you'll have to get onto Dunearn, turn left to Adam and left again onto Arcadia Road n drive to the end.

Burger Shack's at King's Arcade opposite Starbucks.

Sounds like I won't be going to Xinwang anytime soon! Don't they serve stuff like Maggie Mee at cut throat prices?? Thanks for the review Andaiz!

I remember I tried this Xin Wang (I think at Vivo City) before, and their food was horrible, so cold. When ask the waitress why food so cold, she said \"Weekends many people it is like that one lah\"

Thanks Andaiz, this reinforced my believe that Xin Wang is !@#$%^&*(() so I will give this XinWang a miss ๐Ÿ˜„

                        Itโ€™s called Arcadia Restaurant.

Tried a Hong Kong style cafe at Taka think it was Xin Wang canโ€™t be sure now n the noodle soup was just like instant noodles. Hence my impression of HK style cafes is that they serve instant noodles at ridiculous prices.
