Jennifer:
Once the written papers exam starts, will u b coming to this thread to compare answers?
Unlikely for me. Knowing myself, worries will be etched all over my face. I don't want to stress him further. What's over is over. Would prefer him to focus on the next paper instead.
Now say only...see when time comes if can resist not to check in...

What is the point of checking the answers when it is over? Does it help you to get the marks back? What ever over is already over, look forward. Never cry over spilled milk.

Folks, today is last weekend before PSLE, are you tailing down the revision?

I agree with what phyedw said. -
Some people want to compare, some people donβt.
For me, it is better to know whether my son does well or not so I will be prepared to the kind of t-score he will get.
Letβs agree to disagree.
I will create a separate thread for those who want to compare. Please donβt visit that thread if you donβt want to compare.
Peace. -

Same here. No point checking. Serves no purpose. So what if we know the right answer or the wrong answer. Actually most kids check amongst themselves after each paper. The last thing they want to do is to come back and report the answers to us for us to do a second round of checking. Ds ask only if there is a particularly hard question. Other than that it is back to the books or to enjoy.Jennifer:

I didn't elaborate then that the time my DS decided to go solo was only during the recent prelims. I'm mostly out of the picture. Fortunately his prelims results were decent. I'm trying my best to stay cool, not interfere with his revision and trust that his school has prepared him sufficiently. I hope he can meet his target and go to his dream school via this independence. That will be double joy. If he doesn't meet his target, I'll still celebrate because this independence shows he should be able to handle himself in sec sch. In every outcome, there's always a learning point or two.clay569:

Well... not quite. I've only just started intensive revision last week. So I'll be revising like crazy until 2nd October.
