Another thing to add on, CCA is not compulsory in this school. So, you decide how active you want your child to be in school.

        Hi freezeat2

I’m a P3 parent too…for CL oral, i think u can go into lead.com.sg…there are some good chinese oral samples that can guide u.

For EL oral…my ds wrote 2 SBC (stimulus based conversation) during sep hol…not sure if those will become the test topics…his EL teacher recently asked him to print a pic of his fav animal and his fav place of interest…but did not seem to do anything on it…so i just also picked those 2 and also practised on my own with him…prompt him to talk according to these topics
I also dunno enough or not enough…尽人事听天意。。。
Maybe other P3 parents have more "tips" to share?

I can't quite compare as my P3 DS is my eldest kid in PH. The \"on-ness\" I think depends on teacher as well? But there are some subject teachers who seem perpectually busy......i also pai-sey to keep approaching teachers for clarification. Not sure if some teachers are bogged down by admin work? Or they are just simply overloaded by even teaching work alone..? 🤷
Having said that, there are also those who are very ON...so depends on \"heng-suay\"?

My younger boy's English teacher n Maths teacher are the same as my elder boy.

Last time, drilled in class + home assignments.

                  Now, less home assignments.

My elder boy is a fast worker. It was normal to see him sat down to work in the afternoon to dinner time.

Now ah boy has more free time after school.

                  There is really a change.

My ah boy is not the self motivated type, so I would prefer Sch to 盯他盯紧一点!

                      unlikely to happen now.

Would like to check if report book will list down the CCA that a child takes. Thinking hard if I should let my DS take CCA in P3.
