Clay569, just do your best. Parents must take care too and stay healthy. :)
Thanks, John. Remember we were talking about letting go and kids study on their own some pages back? I didn't elaborate then that the time my DS decided to go solo was only during the recent prelims. I'm mostly out of the picture. Fortunately his prelims results were decent. I'm trying my best to stay cool, not interfere with his revision and trust that his school has prepared him sufficiently. I hope he can meet his target and go to his dream school via this independence. That will be double joy. If he doesn't meet his target, I'll still celebrate because this independence shows he should be able to handle himself in sec sch. In every outcome, there's always a learning point or two.clay569:
Once the written papers exam starts, will u b coming to this thread to compare answers?
Unlikely for me. Knowing myself, worries will be etched all over my face. I don't want to stress him further. What's over is over. Would prefer him to focus on the next paper instead.
Now say only...see when time comes if can resist not to check in...

Folks, today is last weekend before PSLE, are you tailing down the revision?
This week we planned games into our math coaching. Just something more relaxing for my students.

Well... not quite. I've only just started intensive revision last week. So I'll be revising like crazy until 2nd October. -

.anyway, I have scaled down revision for my DS , I think he needs to rest his body and mind. He will not be able to focus if I stress and tires him out. Good luck to you, and do rest when you have done your share of revision, careful not to get burn out before the exam! :snuggles:

Thanks for the encouragement! :grphug:

Does anybody know which type of quetions are for scoring A*? speed ? circle? Percentage?volume?

How many parents are considering not sending their children to school for a day or two this week? Exams start on Thursday, I am seriously contemplating keeping DS home on Tuesday and Wednesday. Now tempted to let him stay home tomorrow too :siam: .
Feel may be better to be well rested before the exams. -

If you want to score A*, you must be well versed in all the Maths topics. -

hi Beikiasu, every thing you stated here can be interlinked. And to score A*, the students are not just tested on topics but also on their competence, speed and ability to self check for mistakes, if any. In my opinion, to get A*, almost all questions must get right, both simple and tough ones.
