Travel: Japan - Tokyo & Disneyland

Tokyo & Disneyland is the best place in the world. One of my favorite place is Disneyland and it’s good place for spending holidays. Disneyland is the magnificent location for tourists all around the globe.

Personally, i would prefer disneysea to disneyland. The crowd in disneyland is horrifying and it takes a long time to queue for the rides.

If u are bringing kids, u can consider going to the zoo (very cheap compared to S'pore), leofoo village (this is a very simple theme park but it take 1.5 hrs by bus to get there), jiufen, shifen etc. Can consider the qingjing farm but it is a long journey there too, better to book a pte vehicle to get there.

Forgot to add, where to stay depends on which part of taiwan u are visiting. Kaoshiung is generally cheaper. While it takes only 1.5 hrs to travel betw the 2 cities by HSR, the cost of HSR is not cheap too.

We were in Tokyo last Dec and stayed in a room for four, our kids were 11 and 12. Century Southern Tower in Shinjuku is well located near the station (5 mins walk) in a nice, quiet part of Shinjuku, it is near Takashimaya and many eateries and shops. The room we booked for 4 had 2 queen beds, rare for Tokyo.

U can consider this hotel, APA Hotel Tokyo-Shiomi-Ekimae, next to Shiomi station which is betw tokyo station and disneyland station. Their prices are very reasonable and they provide super single beds for their twin rooms and possible to accomodate 2 adults and 2 yound kids comfortably.

Hi, can anyone suggest anywhere near Tokyo where we can experience some snow in mid december? We wont be skiing and would not like to travel too far north to hokkaido. Thanks in advance.

You can go karuizawa - Prince ski resort is there. about 2 hrs + fr tokyo
