I have been following the thread on DSA 2013. Me no 'stalker' though.25hr mama:
Thanks notredame for ur kind words, but my eyes popped out when I see my name appeared here. I really don't remember having posted anything to make anyone feel that my dd falls under the top pupils category. In fact, when I do post anything, I would normally double check, triple check before submitting, to make sure that information shared & words used are appropriate, and sensititive to others feelings.
Moreover, the truth is, I really would not consider my dd in the top pupil category, above average(maybe) at most, definitely not top lah.
Honestly, I normally would refrain from sharing my dd's performance in the forum to avoid trouble, unless some parents PM me for more personal sharing. To avoid possible hostility from some, I dun enough share wif my relatives, friends & neighbors that my dd is the GEP. I just want my dd to be viewed & treated fairly, normally, lead a happy childhood, hv many many friends & not judged just because shez in the GEP.

My dd just came home. She says it was ez. She wrote more for Chinese Paper 1 than English Paper 1 even.

Dc find the paper manageable only. MT is his weakest subject. No ‘surprisingly easy’ comments from him as compared to the past 2 papers. He managed to fill up all the lines in compre almost without any corrections. To him, that was an achievement(??).

Heard from some students..Chinese paper was tough!
Phew! My ds is exempted from Chinese
