You won't have anything to do for your Sec 1 kid so you can concentrate on the P1 kid. As long as you have bought uniforms and books for your Sec 1 before school starts, your job will be done by then.exhaustedmum:

yah boy... and dd was complaining about having to do HCL.. why can't they have HCL paper at the beginning of PSLE so that everyone can end PSLE on the same day... Now they have 1 day less to enjoy vs other P6s.. :faint: Told her to have long term view and stop complaining...25hr mama:

Can anyone advise when is a good time to go on a short 4-5days hol? Assuming 21 or 22 nov is psle results release, then we are given a week to choose sec schools, when is the schools posting? Can we plan the hol in early Dec?
Hi,
I plan our holiday first week of December as lots of experienced parents advised that week safe to travel. It's just released of PSLE result n online S1 posting. School posting based on last year, some school was 18-20 Dec before Christmas.
Hope this little info helps.

I was telling DD that she is among the Elite group to take HCL. Not everyone is capable to take this subject…hehe

DS has been playing games on phone & tablet since early morning today.
Yesterday, once he got back…ask for his own Facebook saying he is the ONLY lame one in class not having it. I said no cos you are not 13 yet.
Then asked for smart phone cos he is using a very basic & cheap phone now.
Told him we will think about it…cos worried he will be addicted to games & of his safety if he plays with his phone while walking on the road, etc.
Has anyone reward DC with smart phones for their hard work? -

Me, on the other hand, was \"scolding\" ds why is he taking hcl when his cheenese std make me vomit blood, esp after i tried to revise w him last night and my blood pressure nearly shot off the roof. I dun think there is anything elite abt it at all
