2 FT teachers for 6-7 kids is amazing! I don't think even Eton House provides such ratio. Not sure if that is a temporary thing or they are just waiting for more kids to sign up.... I have personally seen how the teachers handle the children in the playgroup when my son was there for a trial in nursery class. They came across as very experienced, it happens to be the beginning of school term and everyone seem to be CRYING!!
To my knowledge, there are 6-7 children to 2 full time teachers in the current class. To me, this number is GOOD as it is SMALL... -

sometimes cos it is the beginning of school term, the centre will arrange for teachers from the older kids' class to help out in the nursery class.

ahah…they are waiting for more kids to sign up. 6-7 children is the current nos of children in the PG.
The two teachers that i mentioned are the main teachers to the PG. -
Tell me about it Chiefkiasu, I'm currently working in one of those branded boys schools in the town area....parents tried ways and means to get their child into the school! I may be considered one of those lucky mummies who can get her son to be in the school but the thing is.......I do not have a son! BaH!

You can always quickly initiate another \"project\" to take advantage of your staff benefits. Might get lucky and get a boy this time around  . -

Is the $600 before the working mum subsidy? If so, it's not bad already. I'm paying around $650 for a half-day session for my daughter in Kinderland. -
ok its $ 675 …for 5 half days after working parent subsidy

Having second thoughts abt the school despite my initial encounter and observation hv been positive.
First was my son has to undergoes numerous change of teachers (first set that he took well to, left within 1-2months. Then he was introduced to 3 new teachers after tat). When i questioned the change of teachers, i was told that 2 of them hv to go due to medical condition, and 1 is because her contract has ended. And the funniest thing is "should the school not informed the parents if there is gg to be a change in teacher?? Liked a note in the communication book or ??"
Secondly, due to an encounter with one of the teacher. My son developed a fear in gg to school for a couple of wks. No doubt the issue was quickly taken care of, but now…i am getting a bit concern after reading of the feedbacks posted in another forum.
When i asked my son, he said he is "happy in school".
My question to myself "is my son in good hands?". I am getting a bit worried.
