I think they base on GEP round 1 and SA2 results. But even if one does not get past round 1, a good SA2 result will still open up opportunities for the kid in other programs such as E2K etc.
Dun worry, PHPPS has lots of programs for the high ability pupils.

But E2K is for P5 & 6 only rite? Or issit for P4 as well?

Presently ds has twice weekly sch team training. I'm slightly concerned these enrichment programmes will clash with his CCA and in the end he has to pick one over another. Best is everything spreads themselves nicely across the week.

I'm not so sure for PHPPS.
But for GE schools .. to be in the inter-mingling class ... like TLTT
it is the top 5% .. not all who get into round 2 will be in.

I also tot it can't be based on clearing round 1 alone as it'll be a logistics nitemare for sch to cater for so may pupils. 5% would have cut the total number down by half. Mabbe that's how it'll work in PH too.

Not all who get into round 2 will get offered TLTT. Some Maths only, some EL, some both, some none..... Depends on round2 performance.

Just dropping in to share some good news my twin nephews successfully DSA to ACS(barker) using water polo...one of their schoolmate too.... So total of 3 PHPPS water polo boys successfully DSA to their dream school!! :rahrah:
