About the permanent site of the JC, the website stated "The new government JC will initially operate at an interim campus at the former ITE College Central (Bishan Campus). It will eventually be located along Sin Ming Avenue, near the junction of Marymount Road."
Is it referring to the site at the road junction where The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters and NEA North East Regional Office are located?
Meaning the Asian Golf Academy and the prawn fishing establishment are moving away? -

Really don't know - but I know the Prawning Place is already closing. Personally I think they should have it next to Bishan MRT. haha... Got big piece of empty land right there leh!!!!!About the permanent site of the JC, the website stated \"The new government JC will initially operate at an interim campus at the former ITE College Central (Bishan Campus). Or the vacant land at the old Lakeside estate, next to MacRitchie, lots of food establishments nearby and Marymount Circle Line within walking distance.

The old Thomson Rd market. Maybe there'll be a MRT somewhere nearby eventually. Bc there will be the Thomson Line coming up in 2020.

About subj combi for sec 3, are the options same for 'O' lvl track and IP track?
No idea actually, didnt know the sec 3 streaming is so complicated.... -
I was looking at Onemap, did not know RI campus is so so big - 2 sports tracks.
Compared to Hwa Chong campus, RI campus is still considered big.
http://www.lta.gov.sg/content/dam/ltaweb/corp/PublicTransport/files/tsl-station-maps.pdf
Based on the above LTA link, the Thomson Line stn is located nearer Bishan Park Sec Sch and Ai Tong Sch, will still need to take a bus to go to Sin Ming Avenue/Marymount.
The next stn is along Upper Thomson (go to page 9 of the above link), outside Thomson Plaza, also 3 bus stops away from old Lakeside estate.
My concern at Sin Ming site is the proximity to the 2 Chinese temples where burning of incense and offerings take place - quality of air. -

The site is at the end of bishan street 22, in between chs and sngs. Quite far from the buddhists temples (bright hill temples).I was looking at Onemap, did not know RI campus is so so big - 2 sports tracks.

The RI sites have both sec and jc section (compared to hci which have the international schools as well. With this new jc and the future rgs campus, i think bishan is going to be 1 crowded place.
