Last class, cos phase 2c balloting mah!
tomorrow (or rather today) pm session for orientation.
My colleague whose son will be in P1-2, went today and advise to either go very early or later part of session to avoid queue. Admin time only abt 15min then over liao.
If can, bring child to buy uniforms too… else Orientation part 2 very crowded end up have to go another day- not enough leave!
Piggi>> so you child went in Phase 2a2 is it? old boy/girl phase right? -

My son is in Mee Toh. My daughter will be in Mee Toh Pri 1 next year.hmmm... this thread seems rather quiet, guess most members of KSP are not residing in/near Punggol
Our son was lucky to be 1 of the 77 balloted
We were really quite surprised, considering the odds and were already planning our backup.
Feel really bad to see the disappointed parents in the crowd
2 of ds' schoolmate in CC also did not get in :imsorry:
I rather go meetoh than the primary school which is 50m away from my home...

So that means the kids will in the same class when P1 & P2, and P3/P4/P5/P6 will re-split every year?
wonder why Mee Toh has two cca for pri 1 that are either wushu or drawing ??? so limited of choice -

This year, for p1 and p2, 1 cca each term. anyway, modular cca is probably still on a trial and error stage, where the sch gather feedbacks from kids and parents. next yr, no more swimming, though. -
Sent DD to school, was greeted by a upper primary student and offered to bring DD to the hall. He said parents were not allowed into hall. Well, grown up in Singapore, always follow the law. But later realised many parents were in the hall too. So i joined the crowd. The principle was going through some info on parent’s file and student handbook. Missed out quite a bit; just wondering why these were not briefed on orientation day?
Wait till 3pm for recess, DD was having vegetarian food. Was destinated to be seated on a different table from the rest of her classmates. Teacher was at there just for less than a minute, the rest of the time with the whole class at their table. Poor DD, together with 2 other classmates at the vegetarian table cared for themselves.
The bell ranged after 20 minutes, Food not finished, food and drink container not cleared, she dropped everything and started to search around for her class to line up. I was staring from far. So sad to see her so lost. Sigh…didn’t know its going to be like this. If i know, i won’t opt for vegetarian food. -
Anyone giving out the outgrown uniform- size 24 (blouse) and size 22 (skirt) for girl? The fabric of the new batch is lousier than before and is very thick. Thanks.

Tough competition continues in the school.
I heard from one of my students that next year, they will change the P1/2 to morning session. Any parent heard of this?
