      REJECTED 😢

      So sorry to hear that.

You still have time, so try again but also don't limit yourself to only NYPS!

Didn’t attend the Parents Meeting. Was looking through the parents’ slides and saw that there are collage classes in P3. Last years’ prog looks really interesting. What are these classes all about? Are they meant for the potentially gifted kids? Are there more who got into GEP from last yrs’ 3I and 3J? Do they re-select collage kids for P4?

BTW, how are children allocated into different P3 classes in NYPS?

So sorry to hear that...my advice is to try other schools to maximise your chances.

No reason given. It was a general email only to notify parents to try other school.

                Hi ,

Does anyone know what are the school hours in Nanyang Primary? What time it starts & end?

How about the ECA & CCA?

Thanks to anyone who replies, as I m thinking to work partime, if my children can get in to NYPS. 🙏

                  Hi i3mum

NYPS is a single session school. Kids need to be in school by 7:20am for assembly/silent-reading. Classes finish around 1:15pm (P1/P2). Enrichment classes are held daily - normally 2pm - 3:30/4pm. This is not compulsory. CCAs are normally on Thu/Fri/Sat - depending on what you choose/get selected for. Thu/Fri CCAs are from 2pm - 4/5pm. CCAs for P1/P2 are not compulsory.

                    Hi mickeyhmh,

Nice to speak to you again! I was planning to work in the time when my kids are in school (if they can go in to NYPS). For P1/P2, there are not enrichment classes? Hmm it sound like the kids get to stay in the school till quite late..

Do you sign your kids for enrichment classes outside school? Currently my kids are attending some classes from outside, wondering if I should continue, but I guess it will be quite difficult to gor for classes, cos in school there are so many classes & things to do.

                      Hi i3mum

I meant enrichment classes are NOT compulsory. They have enrichments for P1 - P6. You just need to choose, as they will cost. 😛

My kid attends studentcare after class, so it's easy for him to go to/fro for classes held in school. I enrolled him for swimming & chinese class near my place. In the evenings after I pick him from studentcare, we'll have a quick dinner & walk/take bus to lessons.

                        Hi micekyhmh,

Oh, ok. Are the classes expensive? Which studentcare did u enrol your son? I m wondering if there are any near NYPS. The school bus will drop your son to the student care?
