buying uniforms...Would Bibi & Baba help us sew on the name tags to the pinafore? Trying to decide when to go down to buy...coz have to bring DD there to try the size.

If name tags take 4 weeks, then have to go down by end Nov right? Or can I order name tags first, then say, in Dec then go down with DD to try size and collect tags, then they help to sew on to pinafore, on the spot? Do they do that? haha...

Sat, went bibi baba to buy uniform.

You pay $6.50 - inside one packet contain 6 name tag.
Bibi baba will prepare your child's name tag.
Example : Annie tan s m

Give them minimum 5 weeks.
Once ready, they'll SMS you, to collect the name tag.

However, the uniform seller said that since now is already October -
It is already peak period. They not going to sew your child's white name tag, onto the navy blue pinafore. This sewing part - parents have to sew it themselves, onto the pinafore. They only prepare your child's name tag, but not sew for you.

I ask, then when is your non peak period ?
She replied that must come before September, they will help us sew.
After peak period start, they don't sew.

Huh…but we only got the forms to order in Oct worh…how to avoid peak period? a bit…duh… hahahaha.

Hi ciaobella, the student care u mentioned is it frm pcf at ghim moh? But after 2 yrs will hv to move bck to hillcrest again wor. Mine oreadi fix at out of the box. Think some rgps girls r fr there too. They hv sch bus to send the girls to rgps at mt sinai. Check the pl out, is reali like a home, v cozy.


So the uniforms we shld make a trip dw asap? Was still thinkin since they will grow maybe can wait till later somewhere in end nov or dec.

Any mre gg for p1 next year? Seems to hv not many in this forun.

jacjac, yes PCF @ Ghim Moh. my elder in AM and my younger one in PM and will pick both after work. convenience & cheap too

i also planning to let my elder walks to student care after sch cos only 5 mins walk. can save on bus transport too.

re name tag, i called bibibaba if i can TT $ and fax the form so i dun have to make the trip down but they can’t.
u can send them the cheque and form and then buy the uniform when u collecting the name tag.

Getting quite nervous that my girl going to P1, a little bit stress somehow although it is only P1!

For 2014 p1 cca - may refer existing 2013 cca schedule.
Right now, day & time not finalized yet -
after shifting to mount Sinai.
But school will try stick to existing schedule, if possible, to minimize changes.

On p1 orientation (4 January 2014) :-
- form teachers will be known,
- cca weekday / time finalized.

For those taking p1 cca, note that no school bus transport provided.
Need to settle transport yourself, if want to let child attend cca.
