H2 Maths is Maths done at A levels. Itโ€™s a combination of pure maths and further maths. In the past, these were 2 maths subjects, but in the last couple of years, double maths are no longer taken at A levels.

still pick up the A math and H2 math now?? When I look at the A math
a few months ago, I start to see stars!!! :faint: And when I read the
IP sec/JC threads, I also feel :faint: :faint:
How could studying become so complex now?! :frustrated:

Hehe. I look at those threads until eyes big big. :!: But must resist. There are laid back parents with similar mindsets though, and I picked up a lot. Like I'll make sure my son does his homework, but I haven't corrected his mistakes (muhaha!) cos he has to learn to check if he doesn't want to get crosses on the page. As far as I can see, he's got 5 years to learn to self motivate, otherwise P6 I sure cham!

*Crossing my fingers that I resist meddling :xedfingers: *

                    hi all.in.one,
I think if you've good foundation in your school days, you can easily pick it up when the tie comes. More like recap only. I often hear ppl say they've returned all to their teachers.

I started relearning chinese (esp the writing part) when my kids were in kindy, and I must say, like Maths, Chinese was fairly easy to pick up again. But, I'm still not of that standard where I can understnd the chinese news.

Study IS indeed VERY COMPLEX now. Most kids either:

                    1) have least a parent to guide
                    2) have excellent tuition
                    3) are geniuses - no further help needed
                    4) are struggling in school without any help.

It's fairly easy to guess which kids have more difficulty of making it in our increasingly difficult syllabus.

That's why I had to pick up Maths and Chinese all over again...subjects which I had returned to my teachers.

Hi there! Newbie here. Iโ€™m a FTWM aspiring to do part-time (work half-day in morning since daughterโ€™s sch is single session in morning) when elder daughter starts P1 next yr. Care to share how you all manage with part-time work schedule and whether part-time really works?
