Hwa Chong Institution (High School)

There is currently a surge of posts by students on HCI confessions page complaining about the school system. I wonder if it is reflective of a small group or bigger, there are so many messages.

May I know what is the minimum msg to stay in hci ip for the 4 years?
What does SIP stand for? And what are the criterias to be promoted to year 5? Is HCI exam very tough? What is the usual Msg that your son get in his years in HCI? Lastly, who needs to sit for the reexam?
Thank you very much. -

HCI is trying to retain the status of yesteryear. Sadly, too late, as top PSLE student are going to RI and NUSH. Relentless pursuits of academic status will have serious repercussion.
This episode reflects that HCI does have not so good student or lousy teaching methodology.
As for SIP it will do you good to aim for a good O level and move on to poly. -
What is SIP?

Structured IP more likely a O level preparation class. -

How many of such classes? It is different from the o level classes or the same; ( class Q) ? I read students scoring more than 3.0 msg may go to SIP class. Is my information correct? Thanks.PiggyLalala:

BY THE WAY those who failed group project are not necessary have MSG above 3. They might have MSG 2 just for whatever reasons failed their project.
It will be interesting to see how many SIP student make it back to Sec4 IP this year.
