I think animals will die even faster than plants when there's water pollution.

I was thinking that too. But the question asks if plants are a good indicator. Not if they are a better indicator than animals.

Which I agree is very subjective...once they mentioned 'good', one would wonder what is the reference pt.

The question asks for NOT colour blind daughters or grand-daughters. So, Yes, there are 5 of them in total.

            The parents has :
            - 2 daughters & 2 sons,
            - #1 daughter is married with 2 girls & 1 boy
            - #2 daughter is not married
            - #1 son is married with 1 daughter & 1 son
            - #2 son is married with 2 sons.

So the parents have 2 daughters & 3 grand-daughters who are NOT colour blind as they are either normal or just carriers (the question asks for NOT colour blind).

Carrier means NOT colour blind. Only son #1 and grandsons from #1 daughter & #1 son are colour blind.

            Cheers! šŸ˜„

Thanks! OK, so the 2 daughters in law are not counted (obviously as the question is about heritability).

I've come across questions asking which insects have a 3 stage life cycle and which has 4 stages. Hopefully this chart will help:

How impurities can affect the melting point?

                    a)the melting point is raised.
                    b) it lowers the melting point.

Which is correct? Or both acceptable?

Impurities can lower the melting point of a substance or raise its boiling point.

Son's answer is : when impurities is added, the boiling point is raised, the melting and freezing point are lowered.
But teacher corrected as: boiling and melting is raised, freezing point is lowered.

                        So confusing...
