How do you deal with arrogant/how lian people around you?

Heee hee, janet_lee88. Yah, it takes all kinds to make this world a wonderful place eh? Agree with you...kiasu parents (here - coz we are quite moderate) are way better than those who can't keep their mouth shut and talk (read BRAG) about anything under the sun!

I'm taking heed from Blobbi in \"acting blur\" coz I used to think that I should be courteous and cordial and smile...warao....encourage them to rant more man :stupid: ....very draining indeed!

But if these bragging mothers have to push and push, what’s the point ? Kids will give way if they are under too much stress. Speech and Drama, piano, swimming, kindergolf etc etc

What’s there to brag ? Even you have OR don’t have.
My present flat was bought b4 we got married. Who would be thinking of schools then ? Only consideration is near parents, price and layout of flat.

I find it tiring, irritating to listen to them. So right now, I get hubby to pick up kids when I know these bragging mums would gather. For parent-teacher meetings, I will attend lah, but otherwise I don’t. Might as well shake legs at home than to entertain such women.
