thanks tamarind! rec'd their email today. looking fwd to the shipment 😄

just curious, does your dd know how to read on her own or do you read the books to her? the books that you shared are great!
She reads the books on her own 😉 She loves this series very much :

and she has read the series many times. But I still ask her to read every page out loud to me, because I want to make sure that she knows every word. I need to help her with about 10% of the words. But she is able to understand the stories when she reads them on her own.

Don't think that way, I am sure that you are doing your best for your kids 😄

Actually I have to thank my mother, she reads Chinese books to the kids every night since they were babies. I could not have done it alone.

            Source: http://www3.060s.com/site/html/44/n-6644.html

            tips:

            tips:

            Source:
            http://x.iyaya.com/r/535.html

              Hi Tamarind,

Have been trying to order the 四五快读series from Dangdang but they have been OOS for the past week. The website also doesn’t allow me to leave an order or email with them such that when stock arrives, we are notified to make payment.
Have you encountered this problem or is it me who doesn’t know how to use the website? I checked with the customer service who said apparently can leave an order.

Dangdang is one of the biggest online shopping website in China 😉 They don't even need to sell overseas, they are earning more than enough selling inside China. I am just sharing with other parents where to buy good and cheap Chinese books 😉 Our local bookshops are really very pathetic.

Thank you for posting that excellent article.

I totally agree with your views about learning at home. I read all the books that I bought for my kids and I totally enjoy them. Learning with kids at home is also an excellent way to bond with them 😉

dangdang is in China, the currency is Renminbi.

                        1 Singapore dollar = 4.75 RMB

Just divide the price by 4.75 to convert to SGD.
