Congrats on choosing CCM! I didnt have the chance to visit AHS but visited CCM during last year open house. I must say I was impressed by the sec2 girl guide who brought us around. Definitely bilingual, which is amazing for someone like me who sux in Mandarin. lol and she shown maturity, discipline and a cheerful personality.

Hi heutistmeintag
Thanks for feedback on CCM. I went to the open house this year and like you, was very impressed with the student guide who was helpful and friendly. The girlsthere are decently dressed with the skirts touching the knees. This piece of information is for parents only :lol Perhaps I am more conservative but I do not like school girls who wear very short skirts esp in the mixed schools. I have seen plenty of girls with short skirts and wonder how they sit in class.
Being someone who cannot read Mandarin, it is very frustrating not able to understand sign board or menus ( in China ) in Mandarin. Thus, I hope my girl will have the right platform to brush up her Mandarin. She was from a Convent Prl school and hardly speak Mandarin. -
HELLO chERRY64 ,
My boi is in Chung cHeng high .....cos huby wanted a chinese school for him so there he goes .
He is in sec 2 now and in SCOUT & WUSHU cca.
By the way , I live in Woodlands. -
Hi Kiddo
Great to hear from a parent who send her child to Chung Cheng. I guess not many kaisus parents send their children to Chung Cheng Main.I hope I am wrong.
Wow, Woodlands is far from the school. Besides being a Chinese sch, any other reasons why your hubby chose Chung Cheng Main.
I must say I am impressed with the Chung Cheng students who are courteous and well behaved when I was in the school for some events. I am happy with the school emphasis on discipline.
Btw, my daughter has a classmate that stay in Woodlands too. At first, I also wonder why go to a school that is so far.
I would like to hear from you how you feel about CCHM.
Thanks -

Hi there,
I would like to know if there’s any difference between Chung Cheng Main and Chung Cheng Yishun.
Do you think a child who is from a Convent Pri school can adapt easily to the school environment and its culture?
Thank you!
Cheers! -

Thank you for the information, tansim2010.
Before posting my earlier enquiry, I read on the brief history of Chung Cheng in Yishun branch website, I thought the two schools are merged as one. I did not dive in further to check out Chung Cheng Main.
I supposed both schools operate in the same platform, yes?
Thank you. Cheers! -

DD just got into this school, can someone from this school or any parent know more about this school and can give some advice as to what to expect from this school, heard that teachers usually give out notes and seldom touch the text books? But we already bought all the texts… Doesvthis school do any grading on their students in way of classes? Is it true that some classes are having children who are better in their languages and they group them up together in a class? Are children facing much stress from this school? First time having sec 1 kid studying, a bit worried and excited!
