Thanks, Janet!

IJJ,
You are welcome
Actually my son has quite a bit of worksheets for English because the textbook is not comprehensive. I remind my son not to write anything on the worksheets before I photocopy a copy first. That includes the past year exam papers if possible. -
Hi Mummies,
My son is in P4 this year. I feel the heat since the 2nd week of school. Firstly his school homework has increased, teachers have informed kids about the chapters which will be tested for CA1.
I didn't take a complete break during the Nov/Dec hols, but prepared some Science notes and other stuff. Unfortunately, the feeling when school reopened still hit me hard. I feel like I've got to reach 4th gear before CNY. Usually teachers go full speed after CNY.

You know what? The trick is to be able to reach 4th gear and yet not affect our children. They should not feel our anxiety so that they can be in top form for their exams. I shelter my dd from the pressures of school by constantly putting everything as positive for her, spurring her on by telling her encouraging stories and not overloading her with exam revision. In the background, I must be resourceful and ready for her daily revision. Everyday, a little of something so that by the time it's exam, she's prepared. Janet, you are a very conscientious mum, I'm sure you can help your boy effectively. Take heart!Hi Mummies,

Hi E3,
Thanks for your encouragement.
So far we have been doing a little every day be it Grammar, Cloze, Vocab and also other subjects. I am trying to take it easy for CA1. -
Hi all.
I got a question about Edusave. I read on MOE website that it earns interest at the same level as CPF. It seems better than leaving money in the savings account with negligible interest.
Can we voluntarily deposit money into Edusave? Canβt find any info about this on MOE website. -
Hi ruaqt2,
Edusave is the account every primary student has right ? MOE pumps in some money for each child and amt depends on the type of residence. Iβm not sure about depositing $$ into the account. Maybe you can check with MOE directly. -

Great job!!

thanks for reply
Email address is available in school web as E3 has provided. On e contrary, I find e admin staff quite helpful. When I need to know anything abt my child, I call e tr or leave a msg with my contact with e admin. Usually tr will call within 1 or 2 days.donkey:
Hi, anybody from Peace 2? Want to know any feedback about the form teacher.
Anybody feels that the admin staff are not helpful?
My girl in Peace 2. No teachers have given her any email address for parents to communicate with them. I am so disappointed. -
E3:
Yes, my encounters with them were also quite pleasant. I needed to speak to my dd's Chinese teacher last year and they promptly left a message for her to call back. Chinese teacher called within the next hour. Another time, I was called up to pick up my dd because her temperature was higher than usual, but when I was there, we realised her thermometer was faulty and her temperature was normal so one of them kindly brought her back to class and even helped explain the situation to the teacher on my dd's behalf.
thanks for reply..
