Thinking of secondary schools with bowling as CCA that I can apply DSA for for my P6 boy. Other than Maris Stella High, Chung Cheng, ACSI and SJI, are there any other schools to consider? I understand that ACS Barker Road does not offer DSA.

Any of these schools need to pay for the CCA bowling sessions?

Hi, I suggest if you can get hold of the PSLE Guidebook for 2009 from any parents whose children had sat for the PSLE that would be very helpful. All information is stated in there.

I am waiting for a friend to pass them to me this weekend.

I've that book. My eldest was P6 last yr. According to that book and MOE website, these are the schools with bowling. I'm not considering the league schools like RI though. I recently heard from a mum ACS Barker doesn't offer DSA so would like to confirm that. My eldest in Maris Stella now and I recently found out need pay for the bowling sessions. So curious as to whether other schools are like that too.

Yes, at both my children's schools, parents have to pay for Instructor's fee & other expenses. It's definitely not free. At independent schools, almost all CCAs require co-payment from parents. Except perhaps, UGs. CCAs like shooting and bowling are really for those who can afford and don't mind paying as the co-payment can be a lot.

Does anyone know of a bowling alley that caters to 4- and 6-year-olds? That is, have balls they can carry and shoes they can wear?
