The boys will survuve. However some boys may have bad mosquitoes and sandflies bites. I heard sandflies are worst than mosquitoes bites. But I do not know how to avoid them too. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Dont worry too much. It is a good experience for the boys. ๐Ÿ™‚

Pls people...I'm faaarrrr from the outdoor camping sort. My DS is even less so. He's the strictly indoor sort. If he got through OBS, anyone else can too.

I honestly feel this OBS experience is great for indoorsy boys like my DS. It gets him to be out of his comfort zone n to be adaptable.

Btw, his tent mate brought with him a big can of super duper high power insect repellant spray tt makes my DS' hand spray look weak. So he didn't use his lame spray at all. His tent mates n him had no bites at all, all tks to tt high power spray.

              Umm.. No response..

Sunj1252.. Has your boy submitted his choices ? Heard that most boys will get their 1st choice, so please place your order of choices carefully.. ๐Ÿ˜„

DS' overall GPA is 3.73.. So, DS can (& wants to) take 10 subjects in Year-3.. ๐Ÿ˜“

DS prefers Hist to Geog (though he always scores higher for Geog).. His original plan was to take 3S1H (Bio, Chem, Phy, Hist)..

However, DS did very well in Lit (of LA) in his EOY exam.. Out of a sudden, DS says he likes Lit and wants to take 2S2H (Bio, Chem, Hist, Lit)..

I will leave it to DS to decide coz he has to like what he is studying.. Any advice from Year-3 & 4 parents ? Jtoh, what subject combination is your DD taking in RGS ?

Woah...congrats ! Your ds did very well!

My ds didn't do well for his HMT. (He didnt do HMT at all in Primary school). He got a letter of recommendation to switch to MT in year 3 and 4. Well, I am abit hesistant coz he passed borderline. All I need is for him to pass HMT O level. But I'm afraid year 3 and year 4 may be a lot harder than year 2 HMT? I also need to know if express MT is alot easier than HMT or not much of a difference? Is it true that if he takes express MT, then he only need one more year to take in year 5 and that's it? No need to take in year 6?

any discussion /views on subj combination for year 2 going year 3 next year?

What do u think - ds debating between double science plus 1 elective (CEP) or to take triple science and forget abt CEP? Heโ€™s actually enjoying CEP better than Bio.

any advice from year 3 or 4 parents?
