Recently, I asked my students how they feel about school reopening and what they like most about school and these are the answers...

        Conversation 1:
Me: So what do you like about school?

Female student (7yrs old): I love buying things!

Me: Buying things? I thought there is nothing much to buy in school? :?

Female student: Yes yes there are! I like to go to the bookshop and shop there. There are so many things to shop there like rubber, book marks...... (so that is where girls started their life of shopping πŸ˜‰ )

        Conversation 2:
Me: So what do you like most about school?

Male student (8 yrs old but representative of a number of other boys): I love the recess. I can go and play catching and eat! (well, boys are always thinking about food and playing)

Seems like nobody like going school for the \"right\" reasons. πŸ˜‰

My ds1 bought me 2 hair clips from the school's bookshop today.
He told me that he was afraid that the bookshop auntie will tease him for buying girls' stuff, so he said he quickly added:
          \"δΉ°η»™ζˆ‘ε¦ˆε¦ˆηš„\" πŸ˜‰

same with my 6yr old DS.

I asked him whether he likes to go to Tao Nan.

            He replied yes.

I asked him which subject he likes the best.

He replied recess ... because can play.

That is such an endearing gesture by your DS ...  πŸ˜„

Were you pleasantly surprised?? Or is it something he does quite often - as in buying you stuff ??
