I did. The smaller blocks. To help him work on fine motor skills. Never seen an ironman Lego though. Where sell? I am quite price sensitive.

Btw, thanks for your post. Am trying to memorize all you wrote. LoL!!

For St. Andrew, it's not our favour due to long waiting list.
DS1 is going into St. Andrews P1 in Jan. I am an old boy there too. If there is anything I can help, let me know.

If you happen to try this out, do share how it goes. I have read some books on how pets (usually dogs or horses) will help ASD children. While it is not evidence-based, there are anecdotal success stories.

I too am not a pet person, and unlikely that we will have a pet dog cos we are staying with the ILs and they are not into pets too. But I would be keen to learn about how this works.
Ok. Getting one tomorrow. Nowadays buy pet v troublesome. Must research, view, fix appt, wait for right colour etc. I don't know how I can scientifically claim it will help but I will report whatever I observe...

lol, you will be surprised (or maybe not?) my GAL is into trucks, trucks and more trucks - cement mixer, dump truck, army truck, tow truck. You name it. We have all sorts of big and small truck toys at home. At one stage, all the family members bought trucks for her during Christmas, until I have to tell everyone to stop ... 🤷
:rotflmao: your girl is going to be popular with the guys one day...

Hi, regarding autism, I'm not sure whether this was mentioned previously in any page, but having read and once contacted a teacher who's experienced in helping autistic children, I would suggest swimming therapy for them. The swimming therapy may not be cheap though useful in helping them deal better with surrounding.

Water is in fact a good way of helping them in terms of thinking; I'm not very clear about how it works either but it's been proven to be really effective. Sg also has some schools which specialize in swimming therapy for autistic children.

                    Hope this helps!
Thanks. I got my whole family dressed up just now but couldnt make to a SAFRA in time. Most swimming pools close by 9 or 9.30 pm. This is going to our school holiday project.

Home can be intimidating. My contingent is 8 strong. Can fit?

Maybe simple outings? I bring my kids to East Coast to cycle on weekends. Maybe something along these lines?

Btw DS2 is pretty good with his scooter. He leads the 8 of us (bikes) and attracts the most stares bec of how well he handles the scooter.

I am ok for an outdoor meet up. How about next Sat? 16 Nov? Have u tried West Coast? Less crowded and they have a very nice big playground. Evening will be better as not so hot. We can have dinner at McDonalds after that if you all want.
