      Oh thanks!

In this way, how are parents going to gauge how is our child's performance among his classmates ?
Ha Ha! I was asking the same question! But I suppose it's to tamp down on the competitiveness of exams in P-schools.....

Oh, is there a difference between F/G and C? A few years back, it was only F and C, and recently they added C. I thought all the 3 classes are the same,i.e. the top 120 are all evenly distributed among the 3 classes. Anyone has information on this?

Since this year, the report books for all the levels will not reflect the class position.
My sense from a prior experience was that F/G took the top scorers, C the next tier down, and then the rest distributed. I think that's happening again this year for the P2 to P3, gauging from the little info I have.

Hi, previously, F and G are the top classes for p3 and p4 level. But this year, F, G and C are the top classes. Students supposedly better in Chinese go to C. Students who passed the first round of GEP screening are from these 3 classes. πŸ˜„

Very Confirm not all in p3/4C are good in Chinese, though this was what I was told too.

                P5/6 only FG

Quite disappointed to know that there will be no positioning shown in their report book.

Maybe this is good for kids who are below par so that they won't feel disappointed/discouraged as their friends won't get to compare the position but for those who had put in effort in exams and hope to get recognition for their hard work is bad news!

Without the positioning, how are we going to motivate our child to perform better? :scratchhead:

You should feedback to the P, really. I was told almost no one feedback and the school took it as parents welcome the move.

I agree with you. My kids are more motivated when they know their ranking.

When the kids get their report book, they will know their P5 class? As for no of classes, maybe you want to confirm with F teacher.
