Hi, anybody from Peace 2? Want to know any feedback about the form teacher.

Anybody feels that the admin staff are not helpful?
My girl in Peace 2. No teachers have given her any email address for parents to communicate with them. I am so disappointed.

I am sorry about your disappointment. Hope the teachers take more initiative. Here's the link to the school website with all the teachers' email addresses.

      thank you dear..

        Great job!!

I am trying get mine to take over the driver seat so tat I can sit beside her to provide directions and an 'extra' pair of eyes. 😉
Thanks. I have a feeling girls are easier to 'train' 😉 Perhaps, mummies with boys can provide some tips to Janet... 😄

          Hi E3,

Girls are more obedient and ‘automatic’ doing their work in general. I can only hope my son will learn to be mature and learn to have some responsibility. In the meantime, any mummy here with boys please give me some ideas how you manage your boys. Thanks.

No luck here. I am still micro-managing the younger boy.

As for my elder boy (who is clearly more sensible by age to age comparison), I left him alone at mid of P4. His SA2 results dipped a bit but still made it to CH5. It was the teachers who \"whipped\" him up. I just sat back n relax 😉 So unable to provide any useful ideas.

              Hi Jennifer,

My son at P4 is slightly better now…can’t be left alone just yet. Your son was left alone and he went to Charity 5? His teachers have done an amazing job, but your boy is mature enough too.

Son came back 2day telling me he was punished for not doing his Eng homework properly…his teacher made him write down the consequences for not completing his hw and he had to sign it. Wow, I like it !!!

My elder boy was ranked bottom up in P4 cohort. He was apprehensible about going to CH5 initially. Luckily we met very responsible and caring teachers in CH5 (namely Mr Tan and Mdm Ling) who gave him lots of encouragement. We also avoided the normally seen tension at home becos I did not breathe down his neck at home.

Yesterday my P3 boy was revising the reminding CL tingxie. I left him alone to go through the list (since I have already gone through 2 cycles with him for the past two weeks CL tingxie). Knowing his bo-chap style, I told him 1st correction is to write 3 times, 2nd correction is to write 30 times and 3rd correction is to write 300 times. He believed my \"threat\" as we have gone through a similar punishment during the last hols.

Yes, my encounters with them were also quite pleasant. I needed to speak to my dd's Chinese teacher last year and they promptly left a message for her to call back. Chinese teacher called within the next hour. Another time, I was called up to pick up my dd because her temperature was higher than usual, but when I was there, we realised her thermometer was faulty and her temperature was normal so one of them kindly brought her back to class and even helped explain the situation to the teacher on my dd's behalf.

                    thanks for reply..

                    Hi all,

Is it true that only good classes got good , committed teachers?

                        I don't think so.

Someone whose child was in CH6 a year before my boy told me Ms Ivy used to take CH6 for many years. In her opinion, she is the BEST teacher for PSLE pupils. Mr. Tan took CH5 (2008), then followed the class up to CH6 (2009). This year, another teacher has taken CH6. Mr Tan has taken another class. Knowing him, I dun think he will put in less effort just becos the class is not CH.
