Really hope no freak outcome. 😓
Yes, this is actually my biggest concern as well.

DS didn't tell me. I'm guessing he doesn't want me to worry... in case my worrying stresses him up 😆

We were told to report at 1045 cos results are released at 11am - same as mmm’s dd.

Btw, could parents share what you look out for in a sec school when filling up the S1 option form, besides the usual considerations of CCAs, distance etc. now that banding of sec schools are no longer made public?

The reason why I am asking is because my friend is really pleased that the new principal in St Anthony’s Canossian used to be the principal of NYGH. Earlier in the year, she was considering other schools in the east, but after she found out about this, she has made up her mind to put st Anthony’s as her first choice.

Does the track record of the principal influence your decision regarding which school you choose for your DCs? It didn’t occur to me to find out which p is heading the school when making my choice.

The P may play some part in shaping the school. But it takes time for changes to take effect. And before you know, it's time for a new P. The current P of Nush had great ideas before he became P Of nush. However the ideas could not materialise in the school he was in because of the make of the school culture, students and teachers there. But his vision worked great in nush.
Don't think SAC can be transformed overnight into Nygh. Some food for thought.

No x-ray eye cannot see beyond her cast leh. Only know losing lotsa muscles & mass from knee & below..... getting skinnier since the cast gets looser. Still gotta wait for another 2weeks b4 next review.

But generally she's ok lah, just whine sometimes about no freedom & play. 😉 thanks.

Next week will be the results day. I hope she will be well enough to go to school 🙏 since that would be the last day the children are together in their primary school.

Today we had the P6 graduation ceremony. All P6 graduands got on the stage to receive their report book and a personalised seal. As principal is moving to a new school next year, it was a rather emotional moment.

I went for the ceremony without feeling a thing but after seeing what some teachers put together (a video that showed the kids in the last 6 years). Yes from 2008 when they were the innocent P1s till now. It does stir that emotion. On top of that with the tribute to principal etc...., it sure left some of us on the verge of tearing. 😢

I also feel sentimental these days 😢
