Hi there... not sure about this but Last time in my older girl's class there was a transfer case too and she was trf'd to a mixed ability class. Classes have already been assigned so likely the top classes are all full.hi,
am transfering my girl from another convent school to st.margaret. the main reason is the distance to school, as we moved to farrer park.
currently my daughter got the best class in her current school.
she is going to P4 next year. Anybody knows, which is the best class in st.margaret for her grade -

HihiAnyone's in P3 next year? Which class your girl is assign to and base on what criteria? Care to share? My girl in 3 Joy.
Thank you
There are 6 classes; Charity, Devotion, Grace, Joy, Kindness and Patience.
The top 2 classes for P3 in 2014 are Charity and Devotion.
It is NOT Charity #1 and Devotion #2. The top 76 students from P2 (2013) based on English and Math get posted to Charity and Devotion, (good mixed and not first 36 in Charity and next 36 in Devotion).
Rest of the cohort gets mixed in the remaining 4 classes.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Erh.... not too sure dudette.
If I am not mistaken... P3-2013 goes into P4-2014 staying in the same class. So in this case, the top classes in P3-2013 and P4-2013 \"technically\" remain the same. There will be streaming for P4-2014 going on to P5-2015.
Wonder if Ms Pang will change the promotion guidelines for P3-2014 going on to P4-2015 (meaning start streaming at each level from P2).
I guess fine line between how much we want our girls to be in the top 2 classes (loaded with tuitions) vs giving them a childhood.

Plum… yes. They will shuffle the top classes around so that there isn’t an elite identity associated with certain classes. But from what I know, if 3C is top class this year, then 4C will be top class the following year. But they streamed them from p3 to p4. My girl’s class had slight reshuffling.then in p5 it will be a different top class again. I think it’s great because 'outsiders or parents from other levels cant automatically tell what kind of class it is from the name.
