Just noticed that the letter sent by sch regarding orientation tmr has the words 2C supp (H) -hillary under my child's name and address.
Is it necessary/ important for the school to categorise which phase my child applied under during d p1 registration that they till now have to tag this info next to my child's name??? :? :?
Jialat hope this does not mean my child gets \"marked\" :yikes: -
Any parent have that on the letter?
wonder if its only those who applied under 2C supp have or other phases of p1 registration also have? -
My guess is it is a reference for mail merge.
My gal letter if this 2c/036 (h)
036 was our registration number -
wonder if the children in 1 Hillary are those who applied during 2c supplementary?
-
My gal is in Hillary too…but I am the number 36 to register…

Yes I applied under 2c. And seriously don't think school will 'mark' down children base on which phase they are registered -
thanks for d reply wiselyn thats a relief!

Agree that it could be mail merge issues.
And as a parent of a current P1 student of PLVPS, let me assure u that there is no 'marking' culture in this school.. Or most schools in singapore for that matter.
My earlier postings I did mention that sometimes this school has some minor administrative hiccups.. And this is one of them. Other minor hiccups include faulty microphones, AV equipment not cooperating, etc.. Hahahahahah.
But hey.. Take it in good stride.. Personally I like these imperfections. I will be worried if the school is too perfect and everything goes as planned every time. But that's juz me ah.

Just sharing, my hubby told me he overheard a mother was asking another mother why the school didnt put the children together according to the same surname. Guess why she made that kind of remark ? It just because she is not comfortable her child to mix around other racial. The other mother actually agreed with her. Both of them were not locals by the way. Luckily i did not see those two parents in my son’s class.
