        Hi mummies and daddies,

Can anyone advise on the cca for next year?
Will it be on every wed? Is it compulsory for P3 kids?
As for supplementary classes, what time / day will it be?
        TIA

Don't think CCA for P3 is compulsory, though my son joined the Media club since he likes it. CCA has been on Wed, not too sure if any change next year for single session.

Supp classes are hard to say, they can be different for different class. Those who are weaker in certain subj may require to attend remedial class, note that this is different from supp classes which are extra classes to continue from curriculum time.

For my son, he attended HCL supp class on Mon, Science supp class on every alternate Tue, CCA on Wed and Maths Olympiad on Fri. There could also be some who will be selected to attend Ingenium (EL program).

            Hi Timtim,

Thanks for the info. It's v useful.
May I know what is the latest time that the supp or remedial lessons will end?

For Maths Olympiad and Ingenium program, these are for students strong in Math and Eng, and to further improve ? Or to represent sch for competitions?

Maths Olympiad and Ingenium are for those strong in respective subj and starts in Semester 2 based on SA1 results (heard above 90 marks for Maths). Think it's for further improvement as well as rep sch if really good, maybe also a prep for GEP screening in late Aug. HCL Supp is for 3A/3B/3C while Sc is for all classes.

The timings will be different with single session.

Everyday, there is one bus schedule for students who have CCA/Remedial/Supp classes. The bus will leave between 4pm-4.10pm. Students taking this bus must bring extra cash to pay driver/aunty. I think SGD6, cannot remember.

Check with Shirley from Poh Lee Transport for more details.

My girl this year is P4. Today she came home without class allocation. Being told will get the result only till end of December 2013. But the bookshop ending date shown 27/12/2013. So Worry...!!! I understand last year P5 students also have to wait till December time then can know which class. Any P5 mummies of daddies can tell me when you received the results and how we check through Nan Chiau Pri website for the class allocation results? Thks

Hi I suppose you wld hv the SMS from school tht class allocation will be available via LMS next Thurs 11am onwards. Guess it's earlier than other years.

When I spoke to the teacher the last time she explained that the school need a time to finalise class's allocation as there wld be parents who wld appeal on subject combi and shuffling will need to be made.

Thks . May I know what is subject combine? Before school holiday, parents already signed a form from their form teachers of HCL , standard or foundation subjects selected for our childrens already? :scratchhead:
