Hi Mummies,
Have another interesting day with the school bus again and really not sure when is this going to end !!! :x
Are you alright if the school bus driver drop your daughter and left the dropped off point without seeing the caregiver or adult coming to pick up your child???? My girl screamed till she saw my maid. (As the timing are not very fixed according to what the driver said so i used last year timing as a guide for pickup......)
Don't they need to have the basic responsibility to inform me that my maid should come down earlier to pick up. Even if they scold me for this i am ok cos it's my own fault and responsibility not to arrange earlier pickup upon being inform.
Have feedback to Ms Maggie Lee but apparently they can't do anything. But i told her to include this into the Tender Evaluation for next year Tendering of new contractor. No point clarifying with the current transport company cos a waste of time when their own boss speak like that..... :x
Mummies - just take note cos the boss told me, there going to be another mess next week. I have passed a hp to my girl to call me when the bus drove off - image already taking the school for 1 year still got to do this.... :x -
Hi Snowflake,
yup, the school bus schedule has been quite erratic. My kid actually took the stairs and walked back herself during those times that she was early.
Now my instruction to my helper is to wait at the drop-off point at 1.55 (since the bus sometimes show up at 2, sometimes 2.15, sometimes 2.10 and once even 2.30)!
Did the boss give any reasons for the expected mess-up next week? Don’t remember anything major happening on the school calendar…
Cheers

Hi Sharmum,
Oh dear, how can the driver do that? I think you have to talk to the driver and not the office coz sometimes the feedback or complaint doesn’t channel from office to the driver. There was once my girl reached home earlier and my mum was not at the pick up point yet and the driver called my HP and said he is waiting downstair and now i will ask my mum to wait 5-7min earlier coz sometimes the timing is so irregular since the CCA has started. Each day there will be gals staying back for CCA so less gals to send home.
Any idea why the boss said there will be another mess next week? Can someone give me the boss HP number juz in case I need to find him? -
Hi mummies,
pls also send me the hp no of the boss of RS just in case… -

Have spoken with Francis and driver of the transport company but they make it seems like my mistake of not going down earlier. Still say that I very rude to raise my voice at them when I am questioning them on how they can do this……Hi Sharmum,

Then, I spoke with SMPS Ops Mgr and she told me that Richard is the boss not Francis and I should highlight this to Richard so that he is aware of the situation ( saw my hesitation to call him – I worry about my dd safety). Then, she told me all the more I should call and inform him – but unable to reach him.
But when I check with the Ops Mgr (SMPS), she mentioned that noting in particular is going on next week – except earlier dismissal on the CNY Friday. This is really tiring and frustrating.... :stupid: -
Well, can understand your dilemma since our DD are in their hands. The only way is to ask your helper to go down early in future.

Hi Tri-mum,
Yes, agreed. I am not very comfortable to let her use the lift alone or with stranger. I rather she call and wait if didn't see my helper. -
When my girl was in YMCA student care last year… . For first few days, everyday I called the driver HP and asked him whether arriving soon or what time to go down and wait. So whenever he was early he called my hp.
This year , my girl is taking the another bus home as I have changed the student care to near to our home. On first day of school , called the driver to inform him to look up for my girl as she is first time taking his bus and make sure he knew where to drop her. To be kiasu ,even took half day leave on 4 Jan and went down to her school during their dismissal time, went to look up for her school bus no to make sure she boarded the right bus and also spoke to the driver juz to make sure he got the alighting address right. Luckily for her there are two other girls going to the same student care. Now that CCA started, my dd told me sometime there are very few girls in the bus . -
